to anon or non-anon?

XD

ahem anyways...

if there was a writing meme...gen, kink, whatever...would you be more inclined to participate if it was anon? by participate i'd love it if everyone would both leave and fill prompts but I know there are non-writers out there who have things they'd like to read but can't get the words out themselves.

so yeah, am curious cos i'm debating tossing together the odd fandom specific memes for fun.

I'm torn about anon. It has pros and cons. I personally like seeing who is requesting and filling things. But at the same time, would a person feel worse if their request wasn't picked to be filled and everyone saw who it was?

I recently filled a request on an anon kink meme and I'm curious to who requested and commented but because it's anon I'll never know. But looking at some requests and stories, I can see why they'd like the anon part of the meme.

You can do the leave a prompt or fill a request you can be anon or not. And leave it open to individual people?

But in general, I check out writing meme things and if a prompt intrigues me I'll fill it whether it's anon or not.

what if you were to do it like Image (http://fuckyeahfinalfantasy.dreamwidth.org/profile)fuckyeahfinalfantasy (http://fuckyeahfinalfantasy.dreamwidth.org/)?

They have the option to go anon or post with your name. Then you can respond in the same too.

Having it optional is a good idea. Writing memes are a good way to find peeps with similar interests to add to the flist and having everything completely anon does make it harder to stalk peoples :)

Now to decide on which fandom/s to pick for everyone interested to play in.

I'm gonna go with the making it optional. Some might start off anon or choose to write anon for prompts they don't feel overly confident about and then post as themselves for ones they go all out on. I'm liking the idea very much.

*cuddles* Spending the weekend stalking a writing meme sounds kinda fun.
