Mao's b'day and general ramble

Well, it's my brother's b'day today. I only remembered last night ^^; and that was because I was dating stock with yesterday's date ^^;;;; Will have to grab him a card and some scratchies or something.

Those returned Christmas cards were reposted yesterday. Hopefully they'll get to where they're supposed to go this time around *fingers crossed* Mum sent them off for me after dropping me at work so that's her writing on the padded bags. Mine's scrawled in the card ;)

Been researching shibari at the suggestion of calliopepurple and damn if I don't want someone to tie me up like that. Just the basic stuff. I don't want to be suspended or such. The chain karada looks right pretty.

Work was pretty good last night. My dinner was great. I had hoisin chicken on brown rice with egg and then salad and fruit. Lots of salad. Ate it and and felt a little over the comfortable full but it was all good. I'm working on eating better. I also had a huge chocolate craving so I grabbed a packet of Rolos which I slowly enjoyed over the next 2 and a bit hours. Today I'm thinking I'll have soup and a pork stirfry. Least with bring stuff from home I know what's in it *remember potato episode* Plus yummy food is good and I get to sit and eat and relax. Or well last night wasn't relaxing as we had Sarah and Amelia in the staff room with us talking very loudly on either side of me. I just shut up and ate and gave Chris interesting looks across the table seeing as I wasn't going to add to the girls convo if I could help it. Our smiles said it all...yes we were annoyed at the noise but we weren't going to say anything, preferring to eat. We had been chatting quietly till they came up and ruined a peaceful meal. 20 minutes they were up there with us. It was a wonderful silence when they left.

Had a funny moment with Steve the boss on the night we got our payslips. Originally we were supposed to initial our receiving of the slips. Now we actually sign for them. I've been doing the initial thing all along though. He told me to stop writing 'yes' and admitted to not understanding why I was doing it. I'm like 'Steve, my initials are 'n' and 'o'. I had to write 'yes' or they'd be asking me why 'no' was put there' We had a bit of a laugh over it. I've been doing it for over a year and he only asks about it now. Weird. Must remember to sign properly. I'll pout though as most the others have lovely signatures and mine is a total scrawl ^^;

Almost the weekend. So close I can taste it ^_^ Still not totally sure what is happening with tomorrow but I am so writing this weekend. The muses, they talk to me and omg it's a wonderful thing and I so missed them.

omg I am so glad today is over. I wanted it over after the first hour of my shift tonight. but it's over now so yay.

i want to write too but I'm too braindead to do that. fuck am I tired. plus it's a little hard to write when the right wording for the start of the fic alludes me...or the reason behind certain things happening. I know how they will happen but not why and it's driving me nuts. more research needed *glares at Rufus & Tseng*

I'm needing to do a rp post for Leon and them I'm falling into bed. I just have 0 energy.
