A little late I know but a general thanks to everyone for b'day wishes. You all know I'm a scatterbrain and so am late with this reply ^^; Probably would all think I'm sick if I was organized ;D
It's a little chilly today. I get the feeling that we're going to have a longer winter this year. Plan is to put the electric blanket on the bed at the end of the week when I change my sheets...waiting till then so I can ask mum for help. yeah, lazy gnome.
New girl starting at work tonight. She'll be going into my section and I have to train her. omg I've not trained anyone in years. it's going to be strange to sort of hand lollies over to another after 7 1/2 years...but we do need a back-up for when I take weeks off work to travel overseas *GRIN* Wonder how it'll go. She's the wife of one of the old employees, Roy, whom used to be my boss, who I went to highschool with. it's so sweet that they've been together since highschool. i think she's a year younger than me. and yeah, she'll quickly get along with the other girls...she has kinds and is married and all that.
Vague thoughts of me and singledom...one of the other co-workers asked last night about stuff like moving out of home and when I'm having kids and I was like pfft, me have kids? my brother has 3. but that's your brother she says *rolls eyes* what is it about people who have kids that think everyone needs kids. kinds would be handy to have a man and be happily shagging each night before I even consider kids thanks muchly. must try to stay away from family orientated co-workers.
got a couple of things still to do today besides hanging out laundry. hope that dries in time. i'm kinda here but don't expect quick replies as I'm likely in the spare room cleaning up in preparation for this weekend and mad sewing ^_^
