84 days and counting down *runs away*

Wow it is the weekend.

And oh fuck it's starting to sink in that I have less than 3 months to make my cosplays. Well 2 if I don't want to be sewing in October >.> We all know how that works. I usually end up madly sewing the night before leaving. Damn where did the time go.

I'm itching for a new layout here but can't pick just one fandom to do it with. Too many shinies. Am definitely leaning towards something that will inspire me to write. So it's going to end up something LoK, Bleach or KH-ish. Maybe even Suikoden V could end up as the layout. I'm terrible at making these kind of decisions.

There's a list of things to get/do tin front of me right now. We off for a drive today seeing as mum wants to go to the bookshop. While she's doing that I'll probably be getting a haircut. If I get it cut now then by the time con happens it should be Suzaku length. If it's a bit longer I'll bribe Cyd for a trim. Also on the list is to get more lining fabric and some more double sided interfacing. There is also a new Japanese restaurant I'm going to check out while at the shopping center. Mmmm sushi <3

Janet - I needs to send you money for the plane ticket, yes? Or are we booking separate and requesting seating together? I'm a little lost there. Also are you still doing the Byakuya wig. I gotta send you money for that too. Anything I'm missing I need to send you cash for? I think it was just those two.

I need two of me ^^; General thing for the day -> random cleaning, trying to keep warm cos it's bloody cold, sewing or at least mass prepping of stuff in the next 3 hours I have spare and thinking of a certain Bleach fic bunny. I must writes it :3

I fear that I do like that icon entirely too much. I am probably going to end up making others before the bunny lets me go.

Well the hair is cut once again. I'm feeling much less scruffy now :D All it needs is a color and I'll be happy with it. Will likely give it another color the weekend before flying out . Why can't color automatically spread to newly grown roots -_-

Cosplay help? Am attempting to make boot covers in hope of not having to lug to con different boots for each of the cosplay I have planned. Really just want to have my usual stomping boots that I use for Leon and Tseng. Anyone got a pattern I could/should use or links to one? I have a fair idea on how I'm doing the Suzaku ones but Luke's has me a bit stumped. Think ugg boot style and you'd be pretty close. I've got some brown lightweight wool I want to use. I've done a bit of random poking at the boots with calico scraps but it's a little frustrating at the moment. And I so can't believe I've already gone through a roll of calico ^^;;; Must remember to pick up more next time although seeing as I'm not positive on what I'm doing next year travel wise there's no point in grabbing one yet.

I so already know who I am cosplaying next year if I do go >.>

I'm thinking about crawling into bed and writing. it's nice and quiet seeing as dad is out for the evening.
