Wow it's been a bit over a week. Oops. I guess I shall work my way backwards to the previous post.
Um...dad's b'day today. He's 57.
This time in 5 weeks I'll be with Neko and we will be waiting for Zalia to arrive and no doubt amusing ourselves. Can't wait to see everyone ♥ 34 days to go!!! *panics*
Cosplay - I'm dropping Suzaku. I'm just not going to get him finished. Byakuya is giving my more trouble than I thought he would and so a sacrifice has to be made. However unlike Asch (who is still in the box I placed him in when I decided not to make him), Suzaku will be finished and will look awesome. I'm just getting no where fast with any of the sewing at the moment. Perhaps in the future I should choose cosplays with less multiple parts and accessories. A sheet with eye holes cut out perhaps?
As you can tell I am so not prepared for holidays this year. If work and rl didn't get in the way of sewing everything would be fine.
Work - I've survived being in charge. It never really got easier when I was doing it on my own but Lyn was back from her holiday the second week and got stuck into the stuff I didn't have time to do. I must've marked down over 100 cans of soda due to them being from busted cartons of cans. I am so over putting price reduction stickers on things. And new lines? So damn many of them too. How can I be expected to get everything done when things keep turning up. Oh well everything will be back to normal-ish tomorrow. Am glad to not be in charge anymore.
Met a old school friend of a friend that I've not seen for maybe 10 years now. I'm thinking this is why I had a dream where we (mum, the girls and myself) were on a boat and I came across a room where lots of people from my school were holding a reunion...that I hadn't been told about. It seems my mind is forever going to be stuck on the thought of being left out and of things that happened at the school reunion a few years back *sigh* My subconscious needs to get over itself.
Writing - Not even going there considering that now as I think of it I had the urge to write the other day and now I can't really remember what I was thinking of writing about, I think it was something Leon and Cloud.
Anime - BLEACH! The filler is just making me much happy and I can't wait for the next episode as it looks like we're finally going to get to hear Hyorinmaru speak. Yay.
Home in general - Shadow got out yesterday. Not sure how long for but he's okay. He'd just been wandering about the yard and under the house. Gave him a bath due to his being grotty and found a tick on his tail! It hadn't attached itself yet and was only walking about. Paralysis tick too so we're quite lucky there. I think we have the chance of getting many ticks here due to horses being just down the back paddock. I'll have to take a pic eventually to show everyone the back yard and how people have horses just over the fence...oh and cattle on a property two over.
Life in general - Bloody Shadow decided i should be awake and 4.43am this morning. So not happy. My head really feels out of whack. I got up yesterday no troubles at 7am because I was wide awake but this morning I wanted sleep and getting it was quite impossible. On the weight side of things I'm about to start a period and so have a wee bit of weight gain. Haven't gotten any lower since I last posted but am kinda fluctuating within a 1kg area. Want to lose more but is unlikely. Not too worried yet but I'm going to try on Leon's pants and see how they fit ;)
Last weekend - the show. I spent so much time away on Saturday from the house and away from sewing but getting to seriously relax and just hang out with mum was good. I got a little sunburn but a week on it's not started peeling yet so I might have gotten lucky there. Jessica did quite well in the events she entered. A first for junior handling of cattle, a second for something else to do with cattle. A first and a second in the up to 15 years junior art. We didn't know about the first place until we picked up her pics on the Sunday after the show. None of us knew, including Jess, because they took the ribbon and card down because they kept falling off so they didn't want it getting lost.

We all went on the dodgem cars. Well mum didn't but I'm glad she passed on the ride because a couple of the bumps I got were really hard and I felt my neck protesting. There was a youngish family on there by themselves before we all got on, parents and two young girls of probably 7 or 8 years old. One of the girls was purposely doing head on collisions and the mother didn't do anything to stop her nor did the ride caretakers. One collision was hard enough that I bed the mother had bruises from the seat belt the next few days and the back of the bumper car lifted a good couple inches off the floor. Stupid.
And that's is all that's happened that I remember. Life has been work, sleep and sewing. I've got myself a security cord for taking the laptop overseas with me and just have to remove a heap of stuff from it like manga scans and art and links to sites that really shouldn't be on there when traveling >.> I will be bringing my cables to hook it up to the tv in the room too :D
Okay that post did get a bit long and sorta rambly but that's what happens when I'm away for a week. I have been reading and keeping up with everyone even if I haven't been commenting much. Love you all <333
