wow a week without a post from me. i'm not unwell...just unmotivated. it happens *shrugs* am totally blaming the rain. i think we've had maybe 4-5 sunny days in the past 4-6 weeks? i'm not even sure anymore.
happy seasonal holiday for those celebrating in proper fashion. i loves my flist and thank you all for a fun year <333
i've got some drabbles to share but not all the ones I want to write are done yet so you'll have to wait till later. obviously i still suck at getting cards off on time. that'll be a task for next week. if i get to the post office early wednesday (aka send mum cos i'll be at work) i might get lucky and have stuff out of the country by the weekend. we will see.
talking about the post office...the first amazon box arrived but not the replacement order. i'm thinking it'll arrive next week. has anyone else had a replacement order thing with amazon done before and then had the original order arrive and had to ship it back? do they credit you the shipping cost? not my fault the post is useless. the second two boxes arrived okay and on time. the first one was over 2 weeks late and that is even with tracking -_- seriously no luck with post for me. hopefully this will conclude my post karma issues and everything i need to send out will arrive in record time and in pristine condition.
there's so many posts i'm behind on. i have been reading, just not commenting much. i'm feeling a little blank at times. not sure what is the cause of it but once i figure it out i'll bash it into submission and get on with things.
should I even bother with a goals for today list? i know i'm leaving housework till tomorrow unless i feel the need to get up and moving today. the usual emails and comments to catch up on and i'm very very behind on fb. sometimes I wonder why i even bother having one.
we did secret santa on thursday. yay for a half hour+ outside during work time. made mini quiches that turned out rather good although we had to have them cold. i got a box of chocolates from in the store -_- so unimaginative but i'll forgive them if it was one of the new kids that have only started in the past couple weeks. i got foz a game voucher. he was quite pleased with it :) best gift was a cock shaped cocktail shaker where the balls are the stand. i do so love that a few of our crew are peverted and give appropriate gifts if they get the right person.
working monday from 6m...we open at 9 which hopefully will be enough time to do everything i would usually do on a 8 hour sunday shift. um yay public holiday pay? then i get tuesday off so no idea what my pay will be like the next couple weeks.
am so far behind on everything. if my head wasn't feeling so loopy i'd have a drink...but hey it's only early. i can drink later >.>
may or may not make my way onto chat too. shall see how much i manage to get done in the next couple hours.
