Work continues to suck. I remember the last time I was doing this that it took me until the second week to even vaguely catch up to what I was supposed to be doing. This time I've not had 7 unexpected orders all arrive together but am just getting no where. Higher ups are not helping nor is staff working hours restructure.

I have headache. I is tired. It is not pretty. Price of the dollar continues to go up though which is good.

Gonna eat dinner and work on staying up until work clothes for tomorrow are relatively dry. Start at 7am tomorrow and get out early too so I am really hoping that work is less stressful tomorrow and I an brain functional enough to do stuff when I get home instead of becoming a blob of eat and lay on the bed and then pass out.

Sorry that you're not getting the help you need. I think all us understand how that feels. Just keep thinking that you have a great vacation coming in less than two months and you need the monies to buy all of the shinys you want. ;)

I think it's so stressful because each time I turn around they want me to do something else that I don't have time to do. Rhonda does ordering with and without reps, goes through her backstock and marks down damaged products that are still okay to be sold but much cheaper. They want me to do this as well as do the new lines that I normally do as part of my daily thing. I've not even touched any of Rhonda's backstock. I've managed to put away most of one order because it's easier to fill it the same time I mark it off. I've been doing new lines still and finally managed to get the damaged cart ticketed and out for people to poke through. I've also been doing the not on file basket so that products that for some strange reason weren't scanning are now working. Mandy checks those out but I have to put everything back on the shelf...I even scan them before doing that to make sure they work because so far on the two baskets we've done there's been a couple that still haven't worked although she says they're fixed *rolls eyes*

I'm really not getting anywhere. And today is my short day and tomorrow is a public holiday. I really do hope we have a quiet day and I'm able to get stuff done. They pay will be awesome at $35/h and I am tempted to ask if I can have it off because we technically don't have to work but a chance to catch up is good plus we will be receiving order still anyways.

*flops on* One week almost finished. One to go *clings* We are going to have an awesome vacation ♥

Ouch, that sounds like a lot of work, Gnome. Have you reminded anyone lately that you're only one person?

Oh yes, I'm looking forward to con, even though you're going to make me waltz. ;) You do realize that means I'm going to have to make you DDR. *grins*

I do try to remind them but they seem to think I can handle it. They don't see my mental instability increasing with each rep that shows up for orders or for each order that arrives to be marked off. But I did get through it and Rhonda and I both agree that we can only do the best we can and if that isn't good enough then tough ;)

Waltzing and DDR aren't a fair trade off >.> We can waltz in private. DDR is in a room full of others and I bet all the 'bitches' will sit around and happily watch as we all trip over ourselves. Or well as I do the tripping thing. I do wish I had privacy to hook it up here but what I also need is time which I don't have right now *clings to* I so hope you can get a room near mine although roaming about the hotel is much fun too <333

I think it's a perfectly fair trade off. I have to do the cosplay bit for the waltzing part and you don't have to do anything extra for DDR. ;) Actually, Zalia did a bit of DDR when she was here and it was highly amusing. I always forget how hard it is at the beginning to get your feet to move and we had fun talking about it. But she did pick it back up rather quickly.

Very good point about the room. I'll have to keep that in mind when we get there. Though Jamie and I having separate beds is going to have to come first. ^^;
