Of course I've request Legacy of Kain. I'm rather predictable like that. Especially when given only one submission choice. Really makes you think about what one single fandom you'd like to see something from. But considering the amount of old prompts on the free-for-all list and the once I have saved from way back in the day, it's all good. The choice wasn't all that hard either really considering I listen to the LoK voice sessions every other day. I've found them...soothing? *is weird* XD

I have feathers for the fan and all the fabric and footwear. Plus omg girl!cosplay XDD And with how many layers she has going on, it'll be a very good idea to get her started.

Well we all know I was lost for the rest of the evening as watching Defiance stuff became a must. Kain! KAIN!!!!
I've had a thought of what if there was a writing challenge where lines were taken from a game and only that game, people not told what game it was, and then see where it took them. Because some of the lines in LoK are just AWESOME! HELL MOST IF NOT ALL THE DAMN LINES IN THE DAMN GAME ARE BLOODY AWESOME!
Legacy of Kain is just such a thing of beauty *drools all over the games*
I know Emerald would so recognize the LoK if I did this writing idea...just as Kalli would pic the SR lines out if they were used.

Shows you like: Don't watch much tv but do like Miniscule when I remember it's on. TV is for gaming :D
Movies you like: Star Wars, Star Trek, XMFC, Iron Man, various other that I can't think of right now.
Books you like: Enjoyed reading lots of David Eddings when younger, partial to thoughts of corrupting Bevier (yes I have written ficlets for Eddings stuff >.>) and quite liked Caverns of Socrates by Dennis L McKiernan. I need to get back into reading books but fic on the internet is so very shiny. I'm on such a xmfc fic reading kick right now that shows no signs of slowing.
Musical artists you like: Linkin Park, Saliva, Hoobastank, Meatloaf, Melissa Etheridge, 30 Seconds to Mars...my playlist of late is usually various anime/game soundtracks or the Legacy of Kain voice sessions.
Other interests of yours: Do like cooking and sewing, don't like gardening. Love my furbaby! Shadow!kitteh.
Extra stuff to note: I am a visual person. Me seeing things is a good way to get my attention. Example - I avoided the KHR fandom for a couple of years. Then I saw an amv at Y-con 2010 and was hooked. The amv just made hit me right and I needed to see the series. I now cosplay and have written a little for it.
I travel...or did. Can't afford it too much anymore but I've been to the previous 7 of 8 Yaoi-cons and I recommend going if you can. So much fun to be had and good times with great friends. I'd like to go this year if I can afford it but if not then it'll have to be next year.

So Cydling posted a reminder that there's a ffviii_100 for dw. Current prompt was past prompts 4. Um...I may have gone a little overboard >.> like I wrote 14. I WAS INSPIRED DAMMIT! And both Seifer and Squall were pointing out that I've been thinking about certain things lately but lacking motivation to write long fics for them so they'd be happy for me to do some of this for them.
So I did. And I have to say that writing these was not a bad way to end one year and start another. Not a bad way at all >3
Most of these drabbles are Seifer & Squall and a lot of them are violent or have implied violence. Those ones are either snipets working around Prove Me Wrong, that Seifer and Squall fic I wrote forno_true_pair. Or they are possibly part of something I'm currently working on...aka the Laguna & Seifer one is making itself part of something I'm lazily working on now.
Damn muses finding ways to keep my attention on them, especially calling up old, old fic ideas and sneaking them into this set of mini-writing.
Yes, I am very happy with all these drabbles. Definitely that first one as it set the tone for everything Seifer and Squall.
Yes there will be more eventually. Who knows maybe even the whole fics rather than just drabbly things.
