inspection today. they're coming at 11-ish. i'm about 90% ready for them and after that i just don't care. either way today will be interesting.

oh and prompts are up for the 0tp challenge on IJ and DW. Considering the list I submitted for IJ and the idea I had for the series as I submitted the list, it's going to be fun. Vincent buying Cid in a date auction is just priceless considering their energy alignments.

FFviii 100 also has a new word. 'Magic'. I think there's going to be a lot of writing going on. Perhaps with the drabble comm Irvine will forgive me for not putting his name on the 0tp list >.>

I need to go finish getting ready and leave.

you could do the Jedi hand wave and tell them "the inspection is over. we did well." mind you, they might look at you funny. i need to try something like that at work. i'm sure people will look at me funny... but then... i AM the nerd of the bunch. >.>

i started writing today at work but then i actually had to do work. >.> i like slow days. i can hide in the back when i'm not making deliveries.

i have sooo many muses clamouring for the "magic" prompt! it's awesome! i might even choose esthar as my team this time around. poor bastards being all alone and not picked.

the inspection did end up going really well. means i can now get back to worrying about everything else that needs to be done. some days i feel like i'm never going to get caught up.

more peoples need to start writing on the comm. it's much fun and some of those drabble ideas just beg to be longer fics. i'm about to post some of the drabbles i've got for magic...just letting them 'rest' overnight because i felt as i wrote them some were on the lame side. i'm going to re-read and them add a couple more before posting.

i'm glad that the inspection went well! less worry about the huge-thing-that-hangs-over-your-head and just normal everyday work worries. *pets* i wish i could say the same thing. oddly i'm normally done my receiving by maybe 10am. i start at 8. somedays, it depends on how much we get in and when it comes in. if it's staggered through the morning, not so bad. if it's all at once, it almost feels overwhelming. it also depends on if people come in for orders right at 8. which is stupid as freight doesn't normally get there until 8:30 ...and sometimes not until 9 or half 9.

i think some people are shy. i know the newest writer we had wrote a Squall/Rinoa fic. not my cup of tea but i'm glad they wrote it. the comm is for every pairing (even if we don't like them! ^___^) and i want them to feel comfortable there. it's good to see some old faces back too. snowlight being one and oska being another. there has been activity on the IJ mirror site with someone whose only going to post there they said. it's nice to see that one being alive again. *pets it* the first one started. i'm proud that people are still interested in it.

i have a Squall/Rinoa drabble and i'm not done it. It's being done through Rinoa and... i'm finding it lame. It's really lacking anything. She's not giving me much to work with. She's not being devious or ...anything. it's like she's just being matter of factly and i'm not pleased.
