work was just evil today. took forever to train up my replacement and even then she had to go home half way through the day because she's been there enough hours already. finally got everything done and they almost ended with an extra hour out of me. i'll likely get paid for half of it seeing as the other 'half' is a missed unpaid break and half my lunch time that I took short cos there was simply too much to do.
why do I get the feeling that next time I want holidays it's going to be harder to get them to let me go ;) this is where clones would come in so damn handy. then i wouldn't have had to train someone and you could be coming to con with us. will be missing you lots and lots <333333333333
*pets* i ended up staying late for work last night too. 2 hours. i don't get paid for it but i NEEDED to get shit done and i'm pretty sure that i wasn't going to get help to do it. so i did it. i have a fear when luanne leaves. either someone transfers in and i stay in the same position, or we hire someone off the street and i get luanne's position - which i'm totally not ready for. i go from doing grunt work and lifting and driving which i enjoy (the driving and deliveries more than anything) to sitting at a desk doing orders when i barely know the system very well. *sighs*
i now have a year to use up my flight ticket... er credit. which i only have to pay 75 dollars to use instead of 150. i'm a bit happy about that.
i think having clones would be great. I would love to be like Jamie Madrox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Madrox) and bop my fist and have a clone pop out to help. then put him back once i'm done!
you know...by the time I got everything finished that was essential to be done, it was 10 hours. i worked almost an extra hour to get things finished. training someone should not take that blood long -_- did not help that the office was overfull with people today. it sucked to much *clings*
