just a little drabble of a thought of possible events I had after reading the latest couple chapters of the khr manga. unlikely to actually happen but wild speculation always make for good fic ideas at some point XD

Iemitsu reported in, eyes taking in the damage, mind estimating the cost. It could have been much worse but fortunately he'd been able to take out Tsunayoshi quickly, the elements of surprise and familiarity on his side. He hoped it wouldn't affect their already strained relationship. He was Vongola just as much as Tsuna was, moreso because of his position and was truly bound by the Family and its needs.
Sensing another's approach, he held off on jumping down to check on his son, stayed completely still as Hibari Kyoya stalked his way across the broken ground of the courtyard. Iemitsu almost changed his mind about jumping down as Hibari crouched next to Tsuna, raised the wrist that bore the watch, possibly checking it for damage before laying it carefully on Tsuna's chest. Long fingers moved to rest against the slim neck for a heartbeat, two, a third before lifting.
Sharp eyes slanted their gaze upwards, narrowing.
Ah.
"You are responsible for this?" Hibari asked and Iemitsu knew the boy wasn't talking about his precious school as he moved to stand between father and son.
Between the Sky and the threat against it.
Actions of a Guardian, likely without even realizing it.
"And if I am?" he asked in return, glancing at the timer on his watch as he swung his pick to rest on his shoulder. He'd always wanted to test Tsuna's Cloud and it looked like he was in luck...or not, as strong Cloud flames began to surround Hibari. He didn't even look like he was trying to create them. Forty-nine seconds was suddenly an eternity.
"Prepare to be bitten to death."
