Mum away till Monday

I am a tired gnome creature. Have things to do and so will be off the compy shortly.

Mum should be on the bus heading to the airport by now. She'll be back Monday night ^_^ It's strange to be here without her. Like usually I'm the one travelling ^^; Hopefully she'll have fun though.

Dad's home today...tis too wet to work and so he's here with me. So I'm not really online. I'm puttering about cleaning up the house so I can have relative peace and quiet when home and not have dad saying things need to be done cos they'll be done.

So very tired though. Might try to squeeze in a nap later as the one I had yesterday really helped.

It's still raining too. No floods here though unlike other places. Shitloads of rain for them. Weather is so extreme this year so far *headdesk*

Meh, can't stay sitting here all day. Time to go fold laundry *putters off*

It is the strangest thing to come home and for mum not to be here watching tv with the headphones or reading a book. But I know she arrived safe down home cos she rang like planned. Oh today has been full of the drama. So much to go on and on about but I don't know if I want to type it all up.

It's been a good night. Shadow is currently chasing a moth on my dressing table, dad has just staggered past to go to the bathroom and I'm debating licking my plate and having another cuppa and some chocolate.
