It is the strangest thing to come home and for mum not to be here watching tv with the headphones or reading a book. But I know she arrived safe down home cos she rang like planned. Oh today has been full of the drama. So much to go on and on about but I don't know if I want to type it all up.
Mum headed off on time so it was all good. Then we get a call who I thought was from the bus company but was actually from Qantas, some guy wanting to talk to mum. Mind you dad answered the phone before handing it off to me so I don't even know the guys name. So he's wanting to talk to 'the passenger', won't tell me shit even though I'm the one who booked the ticket and is her daughter. So I tell him that hey, mum doesn't have her phone turned on no can do. 'I need to talk to the passenger'. *headdesk* So I phone the bus bunch, get them to tell their driver to tell mum to phone home XD Then I tell mum to ring Qantas. Mum rings them and then rings back cos she's been put on hold and is only on a prepaid mobile. So I phone Qantas, get a lovely lady who tells me exactly what is going on once I start quiting reference and flight numbers at her. Mum's original flight has been canceled and so they've booked her onto one that leaves about 20 minutes later...for her flight back on Monday. *HEADDESK!* Seriously the guy could have told me -_- So I phoned mum and told her what happened and texted the new details to her. *sighs* one thing dealt with.
Next is my turn to go to work. For some reason Troy was with Marcus -_- So I had to sit in the back. Troy didn't shut up damn near the whole trip. However Wesley was cute in that he wrapped the extra strap of his carseat around my arm, strapping my arm to his seat for safety XD He is so cute when not screaming.
Work was good...very good. Apart from Bob being a total wanker trying to make himself look good but hey he's just showing that he's got nothing better to do than look for faults that others make. *shrugs* Whatever makes him happy. Wanker.
Mum phoned right on time for her arriving in Tassie...and I did the omg vibrating phone on my spine squeal and dance in front of the cake section I was filling XDDD Apparently the first leg of the flight was bumpier than the flight home last time and so it's quite good I didn't go. Hate turbulence :( But she's happy and got picked up by 2 of my aunts. i see them getting up to no good.
Get out early from work. woot. Get home to find a note from dad. Tukka on bench. He cooked dinner although I said I'd be having salmon and salad at work. Slightly over cooked marinated steak with burnt onion and vegies. Add tomato sauce and hell yeah I ate the lot. Not bad at all :3 I asked dad to feed Shadow. Heh, he fed him all right. The biscuit bowl is full to almost overflowing, the other side is full of water which it never is because Shadow drinks out of my floatng candle holder...and he fed him meat. Which is good...well except for the mass amount of biscuits. Meanwhile Shadow is out and running around the verandah, his tray is still out and dad has gone to bed. Also the kitchen is so clean and the sink is clear of dishes I didn't manage to get done today...washed and dried and put away. Go dad. Wonder if he folded up the washing on the couch *scratches head*
It's been a good night. Shadow is currently chasing a moth on my dressing table, dad has just staggered past to go to the bathroom and I'm debating licking my plate and having another cuppa and some chocolate.
