Something I really need to learn to do is get up at a more decent hour. I could do much more with an extra 2-3 hours up my sleeve.
it's still raining. Has been raining on an doff, more on though, since before Christmas. I think the only reason we're not flooded in is because it's not been all that heavy a rain. Least it's nice and coolish.
Went and saw National Treasure 2 with mum on the weekend...not bad at all. Some corny moments but you get that.
Life in general, that's plodding along too. I feel a bit out of the loop though, a feeling I've been unable to shake for many months. Maybe it'll pass now that we're in a new year.
Must remember that when dating boxes, it's now 08 and not 07.
Y-con plans have already begun in the form of considering dates to fly out, poking the budget and thinking of what cosplay I'd like to do. With full-time work and the con being a month earlier...I kinda have to start now. Once it's sunny again I'll wash Braska and see how that goes. If it goes well then I'll remake him up and drag him along this year. So there will hopefully be Braska, Tseng, a Suikoden character and a Bleach character. I keep forgetting that I want to do Bleach.
And so I have a problem: who to cosplay?
Bleach: I'd love to do Kenpachi but I'm not bloody tall enough and never will be. If some guy pulls of Kenpachi and is sexy, I think I'll lick him. Toshiro is winning cos I love him to bits and I'm short...plus I'd ask Zalia to be my Rangiku ♥ Other tempting characters are Ukitake and Kaien.
Suikoden: omg this is even a bigger problem. I've played 1-4, not quite finished 3 or 4 and have yet to start 5 or Tactics ^^; I'm thinking Tir would be easiest, and most recognizable...I'm tempted to do mike though, who is a very minor character in S3. Ah but doing Tir can be much fun...esp if there's a Ted, Gremio or Riou there *grin*
Bah, enough thinking on that. I am needing to do up a shopping list and get off the compy. Oh and thanks to those who have given me a heads up on cards and the like. I'm a little less worried now about the state of the postal system :)

Speaking of planning when to fly out, I think I'm tacking on an extra day at the end. Be kind of nice to have more time to pack up and get ready to leave. Cramming my suitcases on Sunday night just seems too soon. And I'd love more time with you.
For my cosplay, Aya will be making an appearance again this year. Complete with violet eyes this time. I'm gonna shell out the money for the contacts this last time. After this, I think my eyesight will be too bad to use that brand. It's bad, but I'm oh so excited for it again, even though it was just over.
And lastly, it's so nice to finally, FINALLY understand your Kadaj icon. It always confused me, but now I get it and can giggle. By the way, THANK YOU again for my Aya/Squall drabble. It made me all squirmy and happy. They're so perfect together. :D *glomps and squishes*

Cosplay...well you've seen the list. What I'd like to do is make a Squall cosplay to go with Aya but I have even less time this year for sewing. Plus finding fabric because I'd rather not use that stuff I had last year again. There has to be nicer stuff out there *nods* Con is simply not long enough to do all the cosplay that I want *shakes fist*
*squishes back* I enjoyed writing your drabble...was stumped for a little bit of what to write but then I though one from Scribble's crossover boys would work just fine. I take care of my lovely flist, keeping them all entertained ♥
