So, I have my copy of the CG Mutuality art book. Tis quite pretty. Shame though that quite a few of the pics are spread over two pages and so you don't really get to seem them properly unless you flatten the book somewhat.

One that that did catch my eye is the character sketch for Suzaku. His knight 0 outfit actually has long down to the floor detachable back shoulder thingies compared to the shorter ones shown in the anime. I'm very tempted to make both. Thoughts? I so need to lose some weight first if I"m going to cosplay that >.>

Work was actually manageable today and I'm almost caught up on the week before last. One trolley and I'll be good to go. Shame that tomorrow there will likely be stuff turning up each time I turn around.

I so need to catch up on comments but that will not happen tonight. I'm going to do some veging out tonight and maybe get up earlyish in the morning.

Packages got sent today. I was short one box so Suk's will go tomorrow and Kalli's will go when it's ready. Be surprised if things arrive before Christmas, otherwise think of them as inbetween holidays gifts ;) I'm also thinking maybe I should just do gift vouchers next year as postage is a killer. So damn expensive. Must build teleporter.

Rather a bit tired so I might even call it a night and crawl into bed. Really not sure why I"m feeling so sleepy. Might be that I just had a late diner an dso the body is saying sleep when I should be digesting food.

Meh, gonna go do the being a bum thing <3

You didn't have to get me anything! I asked for a card. ;) But hey, at least that is good planning on my part - something is already coming your way, hopefully. I hope you'll enjoy it.

*noogies* Of course I have to send you something. Cos I luffs you <3 And you should know by now I send the closest flist packages of some description ;)

Yeah, but I know you're trying to save some cash, too, and like you have already pointed out, international shipping is hell. ;) You're too much, Gnome! I suppose that's why we all love you.

I just can't help myself when I see things that I think people would like or that I would like them to have. Will be putting a serious limiter on this sort of sending of things though as it is indeed expensive to do. I think I made the same decision last year but I seemed to have failed ^^;

From: [identity profile] terrayndian.livejournal.com

*nods* I definitely know that feeling. Actually, this year I've been rather slack on finding things that really suit people and I'm feeling a bit guilty about it. Ah well, I've been feeling a little irritated at certain people and it makes me more irritated that I can't rant about it on my LJ because they read it. Long story short, I'm not trying too hard on their gifts this year. As for yours, it was definitely one of those "Gnome would probably like this, but not get it for herself" sort of things and I couldn't resist.

You could do a filtered post, one where you rant so only a few people can see. Commenting would be optional cos you'd just be getting things out of your system so you can analyze it and hopefully figure it out of be able to move on. You might get someone who has had the same situation happen and they can give some advice or another could noogie you and let you know you're over-reacting? Filters do help *cuddles*

I need to visit the website of the artist of that calendar. Much pretty. thank you for getting it for me *loves hard*

From: [identity profile] terrayndian.livejournal.com

I've been tempted to do it, but in the end, it's asking for trouble, especially if I screw something up with the filter. Nah, I'm mostly tired of the double standards, where if I do something, I'm a horrible person, but if she does it, it's an honest mistake. It also didn't help that I had finals and term papers to complete, aka stressful situations altogether, and I got complaints that I'm never online. *sigh* Enough of that. I don't need to bother you with it since most of the anger has dissipated with me getting my grades this week. It's just something that comes and goes.

The calendar is actually by three artists, I believe. I didn't realize that until I revisited the DA post about the calendar a week or so ago. Either way, all of them have great stuff and I'm glad that I was able to introduce you to new artists. Funny how I stumbled upon her first when you're the Kuro x Fai fan. ;) Granted, I'm very much interested in the pairing, but I haven't seen enough 'Tsubasa' to know much/anything about the characters.

You'd think others would be understanding of the RL things that are somewhat more important than online things as they are what is going to feed you and keep a roof over your head in the long run. *shakes head* I'm bad for not being online but it's a mood thing. Being too busy is a totally valid reason for being quiet online. Besides, being online every day taking to the same people can get boring after a while if you are not talking about new stuff. *cuddles* Feel free to rant when you have the need. Better out than sitting there stewing until it explodes in your head ;)

One complaint I have about Tsubasa is the chapters getting done by scanlation at the moment are too short *pouts* Seems to take forever to go forwards at times. Bleach is just as bad in that something exciting is happening and yet they cut across to other characters *put upon sigh* Fangirl whinings XD Not all the manga has been made into anime but least they did the Tokyo Revelations arc into ovas. Clamp yay!

I need to put the calendar up still. I'll figure out where probably on the 1st ;)

From: [identity profile] terrayndian.livejournal.com

You see, that's the thing - I understand you're busy (time difference and our schedules not really matching aside) and I'm perfectly fine with you hiding out and appearing whenever the urge or thought arises. I know that I can get a hold of you if I need to for random questions. And I also completely agree that it's hard to chat day after day about nothing. I'm not a small talk person. I can play every now and again, but I get bored when chatting with someone and they poke me for not having a response when there is no response to give. Altogether, it was just frustrating when I tried to explain that I didn't go on chat because I had homework to do and the answer was, 'well, then just put everyone else to ignore and talk to me.' I really don't understand how the point got completely missed. =P

Heh, I have to admit, the other reason I've avoided 'Tsubasa' is because Clamp never finished 'X/1999' and 'Clover' and I'm afraid of getting sucked into another unfinished story of theirs. They are good at what they do and it drives me nuts. ;) And I can imagine that with 'Bleach'. I was a fan of 'Flame of Recca' and they would do the same damn thing - have a cliff hanger with one person/team and then cut to a completely different person/team, leaving me a blubbering mess until months later when they got back to the 'OMG, how are they going to live' person/team. =P

*laugh* Best of luck with your space issues. With con and Olympics, I imagine that you won't be getting your apartment anytime soon.

Time zones and working full time has certainly put a damper on my online time. I'm usually only on chat on the weekends now as when I get up in the morning I'm either not awake enough, can't be bothered or have no time to be distracted. Weekdays are just not nice to me anymore :( See right now we could probably be doing this on chat but we're spamming journals here and working on post counts XD And I'm always available to you and few others...provided the chat prograin is even turned on. We've had a few power outtages recently and I keep forgetting to turn chat back on.

If that was the answer then I would have been saying that you don't have time to chat at all with anyone, the person being a pain in the butt included (with a silent add-on of likely at thetop of the list). Small talk can be much fun provided you're both in the mood and have nothing else going on...and it can lead to proper convos once you find the right topic.

X/1999 was never finished? How then were they able to do the anime? I've not read the manga and have considered collecting it a few times. Wonder if there's scans of it getting about. I've not even read all the Bleach manga but with it currently being ahead of the anime, it's hard to resist. If I'm really bored one night I guess I can go back and read the bits I've missed.

Even without con and Olympics it's still to expensive to move out on my own. maybe we'll move house to somewhere that has a granny flat or something i can live in as separate from the main house.

*laugh* Actually, I didn't mean for all of those posts to happen - I blame you since you usually take a day or two to respond. I usually try to respond to posts when I see them since I tend to forget about them otherwise. =P Yes, I'm a bad person.

That's what I thought, but apparently I was in the wrong. I don't mind chat much, but the problem lies in that I rarely can do chat and something else at the same time. Everyone I chat with are fast typers, so it's just one reply after the other with few breaks and definitely not enough time to focus on something else, e.g. homework or writing. There's also the mood angle, like you mentioned. Most of the time, I just don't feel like talking about the weather or work. And really, my life is boring - nothing much to talk about. =P

Phft, they did the X/1999 anime and finished it before the manga series was halfway done. It's the same as Full Metal Alchemist finishing even though the manga series is still on-going (and in a completely different direction, if I understand correctly). The thing with X/1999 is that I was excited for the manga to end since the movie and anime series had different endings. I was curious if the manga would also be different, or somehow explain those other two endings. Alas, no ending and it's annoying when they are playing with those characters in Tsubasa.

One of these days, you'll get out of there... or else move to the States and live with one of us. That's not too big of a change, right? I've got a whole floor I'm practically not using. ;)

What can I say - it was the weekend and I was home hurt which meant I stayed at the compy pretty much all day long. I'm taking a little longer to reply now that it's the middle of the week.

When I'm on chat I usually drop everything else. I lose whole days when on chat as just as one goes to bed another comes on and sees me. That's why I'm invisible more often than not. Those who know how to find me can otherwise I'll do the poking. Weekdays just aren't any good for me and chat :(

Your life isn't boring. It's just a matter of finding things to talk about - con, muses, games...we don't really have lives, do we? XD

I've heard the manga went off a different direction but I've not ready any of it. Perhaps I should. Will give me something to read while d-gray-man is on hiatus and bleach, tsubasa and vampire knight just updated and ouran is only posted monthly.

Is there a petition to Clamp to sign for them to finish X/1999?

We probably should all live together in a fangirl commune. Let me see if I can win the lottery this weekend :3
