I must admit it was probably not my wisest thought to take the tube of minstrels I received to work. I know I did eat most of them but now have a couple of the staff asking me to share the next time I get some too ^^; They are just so damn tasty compared to smarties and m&ms. Mini m&ms are still yummy too though. Thank you Emerald! Was much tasty <3

I also have a calendar. Tis a pretty calendar for 2009. Arrived from Spain. It's of Kuro-chan and Fai <3 It is made of yay and pretty and omg someone brought me a 09 calendar and I don't have one yet. Also a matter of where the hell am I going to put it XD Did I mention it's pretty? Twelve months of Kuro/Fai fanart with the occasional appearance of the other Fai. Is that a spoiler to say that? *looks only a little worried* So who am I showering with love for the pretty? Cos seriously no idea but I'm guessing one of the con crew cos you all know I didn't find a calendar this year. Although I could be wrong too. But yes THANK YOU! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Am currently waiting for dinner to cook. Yes, it's after 9pm for me but mum forgot to put the lamb on before she left to pick me up and then I forgot to ask thinking it was already on till after 8 and so it's cooking. Mmmm moroccan lamb yum.

Work was tiring. I dreamed this morning where there was work crew and family and flist buddies all in the one dream and omg so tiring. Can't even remember what was happening in it. I need drugs so I don't dream or something. I spent all day in lollies again and it's not finished. Damn close though. Bring on the next two weeks where we don't receive orders so I can catch up on everything.

Watched FF:AC during lunch, specifically the Kadaj and Cloud fight and then the Sephiroth and Cloud fight. Think Seph might have cast and quake spell to get the top of the Shin-ra tower to start falling on them before he sliced at it? Watching them fight...esp the bit where Cloud is having a flash thought of all that is precious to him makes me want to write Cloud/Denzel >.>

Oh...just realized the noise coming from my headphones on the desk is the Dissidia site playing music at me XD

Food is ready. Gonna grab it and then do the relaxing thing here. Remind me to buy Cd-R disks tomorrow so I can do some music up. Mmmm fooooooooooooooooood.

Yay, I'm glad it got there okay! I actually didn't know that you needed a calendar, but I happened upon Inma's Deviantart page from someone else's favorites and she posted earlier this month about her calendar. Given your reaction over the music videos at Yaoi Con (seriously, I hadn't a clue before that that you liked Kuro x Fai), I was hoping that you would like her pictures, especially with them being colored and all. ;) So yes, it being a calendar was purely secondary since I knew you have very little wall space.

I haven't gotten a calendar yet. There was one at y-con but it didn't appeal to me like the ones I had for this year did. Considering I have 3 fan calendars in the room at the moment, they much appealed to me. I would put it up whee my main house calendar goes but I"m worried about ripping it when my desk chair occasionally hits the wall. I'll find somewhere for the pretty to go :) ♥♥♥

I think with writing for me I really have to connect with the anime characters to be able to write them. I've managed that with Kenpachi and Byakuya but I don't think I'd be able to write Ichigo. Maybe it's a secondary character thing or that they're such an unlikely couple that makes they easier in my head.

I'm always going to be a gamer girl at heart. It's much easier to write for the game fandom that anime, for me anyways.

*nods* I can completely understand that. While I write SxS 99% of the time, I enjoy reading other pairings that I probably won't write myself, such as Zack x Cloud (FF7), Draco x Harry (HP), Bruce/Batman x Clark/Superman, and others, though those are the big pairings for me right now. Mostly, I just don't feel like I'd do those pairings justice compared to how I understand/perceive SxS. Yup, I'm mostly a wuss in the end. ;) I can't tell you how much I'm afraid of writing Zack x Cloud for GR:NP, but I'm still determined to do something with them... once I have a KH version of Zack figured out (I have plans, but enacting them is always another beast).

Oh yes, it's definitely all about feeling confident enough to write a pairing...that or being of the i don't care what everyone thinks i have to write this pairing or lose my mind to them ;)

I think part of why I prefer to write Tseng Turks over the main FF7 boys is that I'm yet to find someone write them in a way that totally blows me out of the water. I prefer to write Rufus with Cloud over Rufus and Reno too. Or Cloud with Reno to a point but not Rufus and Reno. With your writing of SxS it's similar to how I see how they would be so I can write them in small amounts although I still prefer Irv/Squall. Although I will admit it's been hard to write them recently. Hard to write anything recently really. I need some hardcore gaming time.

You'll do fine with Zack. Any hints on where he's going to show up? I know some have written him as a summon and while that's cool, it's also rather sad cos he can't be alive and with Cloud all the time.

*nods* It's the pressure of readers that typically makes me a bit wary to post anything non-SxS. People can be quite brutal when it comes to OOC nonsense.

Heh, truth be told, that's similar to the reason I started SxS. I liked the idea of them, but many of the stories were too... well, I hate to say sappy since that's what I do, but either Squall or Seifer were brought to tears, or Squall was too feminized, or they got together too quickly for their backgrounds. And don't forget that you started with SxS - you can't get rid of muses that easily. ;) The writing bug will hit you again. You've been really busy and stretched thin lately between con, work, hurting your back, shopping for Christmas, and other things I can remember right now... You do a lot and it's hard to write when you're thinking about the million and one other things you need to do.

*laugh* Are you sure you want me to say anything? How about I just say that I always do the obvious when it comes to these stories, so Zack's role should be your first guess. As for his background, I've decided that he was hiding out on the PotC world. I couldn't help the idea of a pirate!Zack. ;)

People can also beg for more until you feel so very overwhelmed and burn out. Considering you write mpreg AUs I think people will enjoy whatever you do.

*nods* Yes, SxS tends to be made sappy or there's no depth to the relationships although those could probably be considered pwp fics. I try to avoid doing that or set my random fics in already pre-written timelines. I've not been busy really, just lazy and unmotivated. Mabye if I do what I've saying ofr ages upon ages I'll do and work on my backlog of stories, I'll be inspired again. Not sure where I'll start yet but I may take a look at the list tonight. I know Guna's b'day is coming up which means MM could be finished. That and BoL have really taken much to long to be written ^^;

Am I a bad fan to say the PotC world did little for me as part of the game? I guess it was the whole pirate skeleton thing that got to me. Only stage worse was the singing >.> But Pirate!Zack sounds like much fun and I can't think of any other spot for him to be other than with Peter Pan or in the jungle with Tarzan. Mmmm loincloth :3

Yup, yup, that whole 'responsibility' thing with writing can get quite bothersome at times. It's like having a constant deadline. =P

It's hard to get back into writing after a long break, so don't push yourself. Just write whatever you want to do, not necessarily something you think you should write. Hopefully that will get you back into the writing game.

*laugh* You aren't a bad fan. I personally disliked the PotC world, too, since it was a blatant 'PotC is popular right now - let's abuse it!' scheme that made a boring storyline. However, I like pirates, so I can't blame it much in that regard. ;) And yeah, not many places for Zack to have come from, but Disney/Square can make up worlds as they please, so why not fanfic writers? I'm just too lazy for that, especially when I'm not doing anything with/on Zack's world, so I have no reason to create a new one when PotC should work fine enough.
