You know sometimes I do wish I was a little more forward but I'm not with people I don't know. Yesterday while shopping there was a girl, likely late teens/early 20s, shopping for fabric with a couple guys. she was wearing an animal character hat I couldn't recognize. And a Naruto jacket around her waist. I wasn't 100% sure about the jacket until she was leaving and I saw the symbol tucked away. Heh I probably would have scared her.

However we did pretty good with shopping yesterday. I have some white polyester microcrepe I'm going to attempt to dye a very pale aqua with food coloring for Byakuya. Finding fabric the right color and texture has been impossible so I'm going to try to make it myself. I'm going food coloring over actual fabric dye as it's bucket loads cheaper, like $15 and I don't think polyester usually takes dye all that well so I'm trying not to waste money. Yeah, I'll do a test piece first.

I also have yet another pair of boots for Luke. These are the right color, just not quite the right style but it's all good. They need some padding in them though dammit but I guess that's what I get for buying cheapass boots for cosplay purposes.

I have a plan for today that involves housework. Now that I have all my fabrics it's time to get them organized. I have a to check my con to do list and get links for sites I need to leave travel info at. Once that side of it is all organized I'll be sewing, working, sleeping, having random moments of chat and sewing.

Is it October yet? *grin*

Dying polyester all depends on whether or not it is entirely a blend, and the type of dye being used. I do hope it turns out for you though, I'd love to see him finished. XD

Just the usual crew is going minus a couple that can't make it. Travel and all that it entails is getting expensive. I'm still working with the fabric and I don't think it's a blend at all. Might have to check out the messageboards on one of the cosplay sites for help.

Ah well that would be me not reading the comment correctly. Who is dragging you along to con? Cos it's not me really, you're going of your own free will ;) Need any tips or you good to go? Got your flight and everything organized, room and all that?

My girlfriend is....but I wouldn't have had the idea for timing without your surprise "CON DATES" post a while back. LOL So half the reason is you. I think we need to catch up so I can meet all these elusive peoples On the internets I has never met. XD (Read: Everyone).

The tips would be more for costuming at the moment. I'm waiting for my new bankcard to come in so I can book the hotel properly. I have the tickets booked and paid for. Prereg will be done at the same time as the hotels. All planned for 2 weeks.

Then I can start on finishing the boys I have planned/ XD IT's terribly exciting.

Well if I remember correctly this is the year you were planning on going. I just wasn't sure if you were or not seeing as you and Cyd aren't together anymore. Out of the group I know that goes I'm the one who checks the site each day seeing as I have so far to travel. Plus everyone in my group makes their plans based on mine. If I wasn't going to be there so early I don't think others would arrive as early as they do so we can all spend more time together.

Who are you thinking of cosplaying?

The value of the dollar is going up so you'll probably pay less than I did for pre-reg. Make sure to send it in a registered envelope. I sent it regular post one year and stressed over it getting lost in the mail until I got my confirmation email. Stress = not fun.

Well, I can admit that Cyd did affect my plans somewhat. I wasn't planning on going out of the country ever for a while there. but like I said: convinced into it. XD If I work again over the summer, I'll try and do it next year too. But it all depends on school too. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna miss exams

I have a Seifer, a Xemnas and an Aizen planned. XD Though, at the moment I get the feeling Aizen might have to wait until next year. LOL Uni interferes with my lack of skill. I'll be sending the prereg as soon as I get my new card. (Hopefully that happens next week)

I'm arriving as late as I cam because I'm spending a crap load of time in the US afterwards. Make an actual holiday out of it. XD

And I've noticed the dollar right now is pretty good. Been looking at Xemmy wigs all morning.

And thanks for the tip. Did you get a money order from the post office for it, or cash? Been debating and debating about it. LOL. I fail sometimes.

Do not send cash. On the site when you fill yout the initial pre-reg info there's instructions there about payments. I do mine via the western union money order and have never had issues besides that year I sent it regular post. You'll also need to send pic ID and all that seeing as it's your first year.

There's usually a big group of KH cosplayers getting about. I think they have all the Org characters plus Sora and Riku. I know I saw a girl getting about as merman Sora getting about last year.

Wigs...I need to find one for Luke yet. Might do that during the week. I should be sewing right now but I've been working my way through my email instead. Almost finished with it all.

Urg and I have housework to do now too.

I'm going with a Zexion, And she's the one who talked me into Xemmy. LOL. I'm so easily swayed. No staying power.

And Housework on a sunday is just fail. (doing mine too. V.V)

I'm slowly working through my list of things. But at least I know two people now to Squee with as the date gets closer.
