So I'm not exactly awake and have a scratchy throat when I swallow. Oh joy. I'm so hoping the shower I'll be having shortly will help some.

Is it just me or do I seem to be the only one posting Suikoden yaoi prompts to the writing comms? That or the other yaoi prompts getting posted I can't write cos I either don't know the characters or the characters don't do it for me. I need to finish S5 faster...although at the moment it won't help as they are het prompts anyways. I must say that everyone calling the main 'Prince' is getting annoying. Why couldn't they have given him a default name dammit, one that triggers a different set of voice-overs and so is used instead of 'Prince' *tears out hair*

I think the name generally used for the Prince from S5 is Freyjadour Falenas/Frey, although I can't remember where the name comes from. Maybe one of the manga that go with it.

yeah, Freyjadour, but even if you fill in that name, people don't suddenly start calling him by it

They should >.> There should be something like that unlockable so that on a second play-through or such you have the option of listening to the game properly complete with a prince that talks for himself.

Poor boy what a name to have. Quite the mouthful so it's no wonder they went with 'Prince'. I think I'm going to end up calling him 'Fey' instead of 'Frey'. I'll have a poke about online and see if it mentions that name anywhere. Least giving the hero an official name makes him easier to write into fics.

He needs his own voice too. It makes no sense to have him just nod all the time and have Lyon do much talking for him. Makes him seem shy or snobbish or however you want to put it when people don't speak when they are totally capable. If they took out the waste of space that is the vlyby views of places each time you cut to them for some serious event (ie the sun palace) then there would be room for the the prince to have a voice too.

I wonder if anyone playing Tiekreis have named their character 'Grunt' *grin*

I liked Frey, he was hands down the most expressive of the Tenkais. Lazlo always looked sulky. Frey, you look at him, and it doesn't matter as much that he's not talking, he's that expressive. (still love Roy more though)

He's probably the most expressive because of the technology. They would have wanted to improve on previous games in terms of character style and realism so there'd be happy fans. It's a shame he doesn't actually talk but at least his facial expressions make up for some of that. Plus he also had a different upbringing and all that to Lazlo but you're right about the sulky bit. It seemed to be Lazlo's default face :D

Still not met Roy. Need to pop the game in and get on with sending everyone off to that place you mentioned. Gnome sucks at town names.
