Went and saw GI Joe this evening and yes, am happy gnome. They had me melting into my seat at 'hello brother'. omfg right there was a oh yeah i'll hit that like woah.

didn't get to sit through all the credits and was actually distracted during the last 10-15 minutes of the movie by a strange smell. we ended up having the leave via the emergency exit doors. the popcorn cooker had caught fire in the cinema lobby. exciting stuff...melted doors and all.

had chinese for dinner while in the park mostly in the dark along the waterfront with mum and Jess. was neat and even the cops stopped by on their walk by to ask if we'd saved any for them :D

a very good evening had by all.

back to sewing tomorrow. pray it all goes smoothly so I can actually get the cloak finished.

Mum thinks it was the motor in the bottom that keeps everything working. It is a pretty old popcorn maker considering how long its been there.

Nice, I've been wanting to see GI Joe, but sadly, school and work are in the way, so I think all of my friends are going to see it without me. I'll just have to trick my mom into seeing it when I go to Reno. *laugh* As if that will happen. ;)

That is extremely special about the popcorn maker. I wonder who is going to get into trouble for that.

Go see it by yourself if you can't talk mum into going. Hopefully there will be less people in the cinema when you go and you won't have popcorn makers making the air smell funny. We're thinking old machinery wearing out. Guess we'll find out next time we go <3
