Awesomeness started last night really when i managed to catch Janet on chat and we talked Bleach cosplay and con things and I got money sent over to pay for my plane ticket. Thinking of which I probably should email Janet any booking details she may need about me. Err what do you need to know, Janet?

Continuing onto this morning and while I could have slept a little better getting a lay-in with the cat was nice. Got up around my normal Thursday morning time and mood shot straight up to super happy when I discovered that I've reached the same weight I was just before I left for con last year. SWEET! Still would like to shed a little more but omg I'm very pleased.

Nabbed Zalia on chat and damn but I wish I could teleport over and follow you on your seven week trip. Y-con is so far away still...good thing I guess seeing as I have piles of sewing still to do.

On the sewing side of things I did cutting out of fabric today and grabbing more mock-up making fabric. Mum spent most the day working on the template for Braska's staff. Just as great is dad is going to cut it all out for me.

If I made a phone post right now there would be so damn much eeeee and squee I'd likely end up much incoherent XD Tis late here now so using the phone would be a bad idea. *looks at time* Damn it really is getting late >.> Time does fly when having fun.

Also went off and got the new cash cards done up. Need to check and see if the numbers are joined onto the account yet. Have been busy :) Grabbed a long wood rod too for Braska's staff. It's going to be a pain to post but you all know how much I like things perfect and controlled. Sadly the local compy shop does not have security lock cords for taking laptops over seas. Will likely have to head to Noosa for that.

Back to work tomorrow and then the weekend will be full of Byakuya work and then Monday will be me doing Rhonda's job while she is on two weeks holiday for her son's wedding.

Oh I so won't be sane by the end of the first day ^^; Here's hoping things go smoothly at work and home. and that I manage to get piles done.

Am now going to watch some Bleach musical backstage stuff and then pass out. Everyone deserves really good Thursdays! <3333

Congrats on losing some weight! I was curious how that was going for you since I hadn't heard anything in a while. I spent the weekend in Reno and the days since working, so I'm rather anxious to get some exercising in. Need to practice some DDR to show you my fake dancing skills. *laugh*

Man, it's hard to believe that Zalia is going to be here at NDK next week!! It'll be great to see her... though that means I actually have to hand over her Dissidia when she arrives. I don't care that I don't own a PSP - Squall is on the cover. ^^;

What happened is I got serious about watching what I eat. While generally I am having the same thing each day it's quite tasty so I enjoy it. I've cut right back on chocolate...I have like 2 chocolate biscuits of maybe a stick ice-cream instead of a bowl. I'm eating regularly too and at similar times each day so the body has finally clued in that yes, I'm gonna feed it. Almost had a couple times there where I was going to buy chocolates at work to eat but resisted...generally ended up too busy and distracted to remember to buy them and then it didn't matter.

Stress might have helped too or maybe it was the yay over having a sanity day from work. I so needed it and it was a very very good day.

You'll be getting to see Janet too :) Man everyone is getting to see your place before I do *pouts* I will make it out there one day and do what Zalia is doing. Friends visit road-trip across the US sounds like much fun but I think I'd end up wanting to drag everyone along with me.

I've not got a copy of Dissidia yet. Am planning to do that in SF. It will likely be ont of my first holiday purchases. I've not unpacked my DDR yet >.> Been busy with sewing and work and live in general. May have to rearrange the room when I get home so I can fit it in here. Really really don't want to play it in the lounge room :D

*nods* That is half the battle, avoiding the bad stuff. I find that if I wait thirty minutes to have something, I either forget about getting that snack or I'm not craving it by that later point. I'm also very good about 'out of sight, out of mind', so most of the junk food is hidden in the pantry. ;)

Yup, yup, Janet will be around, too. It'll be like having a mini-con in my place if Jamie, Janet, and Zalia are all here at once, which is very possible. Depending on their schedules, I'm hoping to drag everyone to D-bar (a dessert bar) for some girl fun and good desserts. I wish that you could be here, too, but that's what you get for being half a world away. Don't worry - I'll always have a room waiting for you whenever you want to visit Colorado. You're slowly making your way through your collection of American friends, after all. ;)

I understand your point about DDR - it's nice to have the proper space/privacy for that sort of thing. I'm spoiled and have my own house to enjoy DDR in. ;)

re:text message

I got your text on my way to work, and I'm not certain that I can text you back successfully.

So here we go.

For my sleeves, I basically took and made the whole sleeve as wdie as the arm hole. The patter piece for the sleeve kinda goes in to make the arm narrower after the arc where the sleeve attaches to the body.

I just took and drew straight lines out from the ends of the arc to the end of the sleeve. Then to make the arm vents I used back bias tape to edge the bottom half of the sleeve and the sleeve hole and sewed the top half to gether as normal. I didn't remove any fabric.

...And I can't wait for NDK next week.
