So today was/is a total write-off. Although we did get some stuff I needed which is good. Got home and did a wee bit of painting and then had my can of red paint die in my hand. Still got paint under my fingernails. Got some more for tomorrow.

Shadow was being needy so I sat down to give him a little lap time and started falling asleep. Decided to actually lay down and have a proper nap. It was good the first half hour. Then I just couldn't be bothered getting back up. 2 hours later I finally dragged my groggy butt back out of bed and watched the pilot of SG:U. I really need to get my act together and watch all of SG:1. what I should ahve done was got back up and been on chat to catch up with everyone. I think after I get back from con I'll be online more but right now getting everything ready sadly takes priority. I'm going to owe tons of hugs.

So now I have a headache and feel really like shit. Yep, day is a total write-off. Dinner shortly and hten in about a half hour I'm watching Iron Chef and dad can just live with me having the telly for an hour. He's been watching tv all afternoon. I can't concentrate dammit.

I've also agreed to do a 6am start on Monday...silly bint I am. Will be home around 2.30 though which means I'll have daylight hours to do stuff. Yay.

Braska's staff is too long for regular post so it's either a case of cutting it in half and figuring out how to join in back together perfectly or check out international courier rates so it can be sent whole.

I so live in the wrong country ;)

I'm hoping dad won't be home tomorrow and I'll be able to get much done in the quiet of the house. Or well quiet enough with Bathurst running in the background. Heh. Better car races than some of the stupid shit he watched *headdesk*

It is a bit mesmerizing, especially when there's a few of them on the page and multiple Irvine's are falling down the stairs in sync. I think someone needs to slap Rinoa because she could have been the cause of Irvine breaking something and the team needs him more than the need her >.>

Heh I'm guessing she drove you nuts too? Old flist buddy says that there should be an option of folding up the bed she's sleeping on in the train when you first meet her and leaving her there. The 'game over' screen would be a happy Angelo who is free of an owner who uses him as a weapon. I think Suk likes to miss picking her up in space *evil grin*

I wonder if there's an icon for that. I think there needs to be a post just for that. I now need that icon.

Whenever you had a variety of responses you could use, I always tried to stay pro-Seifer and anti-Rinoa, I'll admit it. SxS FTW! Honestly, she went after a sorceress with a bracelet!

There needs an icon for that. Stat.

I think I ship Squall with generally anyone other than Rinoa...well any of the girls for that matter. He needs a man in his life be it Seifer, Irvine, Zell or Laguna. I don't know if I've seen Squall written with Ward but I have seen him with Kiros once. I have even wrote a drabbly thing of Kiros and Zell with an added implication of Laguna making it a threesome.

Rinoa gets no love unless she's just being the sorceress. There is no real relationship between them beyond that *stabs her*

With SxS it's also a matter of finding the right icon to express them. Suk has a couple good ones. I've got only the one. I think I need more pairing icons.

I can read Squall with generally anyone else, but I tend to ship him with just Seifer. *coughs* But honestly, he's generally so cold, and the beginning fight with Seifer...yeah. Slightly biased.

I think she enchanted Squall. My canon-twist on it. :P

Oh yes, that opening scene really sealed it with SxS as a pairing seeing as Squall was generally apathetic towards everyone else. The thing with Rinoa was definitely forced upon us gamers. Even Seifer didn't really want her in canon after a bit and so why would Squall be wanting his rival's castaways. He's not desparate like Rinoa is.

Enchantment with sorcery sounds totally right and the whole scene with Rinoa sitting on Squall's lap makes me wish he was strapped in and could vent the air int he cockpit and flush her out into space.

Icons! I just renewed my paid time and so have a couple extra spaces to fill up. I know I need a decent Cloud icon.

Yay, 'Iron Chef'! I'm so addicted to our Food Network. Currently been watching the next Iron Chef (American version) and it's quite amusing to watch them try to make something with chicken feet, or unlaid eggs with intestine, or stinky tofu.

If you ever decide to change countries, you know you're very welcome to ours... well, visa issues aside. ^^; We'll just hide you in the basement.

I will always believe that Square wussed out. The game was all about Seifer and Squall's love tryst until some idiot had to go and remember that guys would be playing the game, too, and they might not like Squall running after Seifer. Thus, Rinoa suddenly became Squall's one true love... after Ultimecia possessed her, of course. Convenient timing there. =P

The awesome thing? My very heterosexually minded brother even noted how odd the timing was. "I don't like her, I don't like her, wait!" Obviously, it's not just there for the people who are specifically looking for it.

And Squall and Rinoa, anyway...thinking of that longterm breaks my brain a little. Fairy tales are sweet and everything, but he is a mercenary. I can't see a fairy-tale princess merrily hooking up longterm with a mercenary.

I'm running out of days though *whines* I think I will be sewing Saturday and I fully intend to start packing Sunday. I need to finish off my list of everything that is coming along as well as purchase bathroom stuff. That's this week so I have everything when I start packing.

I want a teleporter!

The annoying thing with Iron Chef is that the translator voice overs lack good tone...if that makes sense. The show I watched was a tofu one. Some of those recipes looked yummy when complete.

We just need our own island. Then we'd be set <3
