So today was/is a total write-off. Although we did get some stuff I needed which is good. Got home and did a wee bit of painting and then had my can of red paint die in my hand. Still got paint under my fingernails. Got some more for tomorrow.

Shadow was being needy so I sat down to give him a little lap time and started falling asleep. Decided to actually lay down and have a proper nap. It was good the first half hour. Then I just couldn't be bothered getting back up. 2 hours later I finally dragged my groggy butt back out of bed and watched the pilot of SG:U. I really need to get my act together and watch all of SG:1. what I should ahve done was got back up and been on chat to catch up with everyone. I think after I get back from con I'll be online more but right now getting everything ready sadly takes priority. I'm going to owe tons of hugs.

So now I have a headache and feel really like shit. Yep, day is a total write-off. Dinner shortly and hten in about a half hour I'm watching Iron Chef and dad can just live with me having the telly for an hour. He's been watching tv all afternoon. I can't concentrate dammit.

I've also agreed to do a 6am start on Monday...silly bint I am. Will be home around 2.30 though which means I'll have daylight hours to do stuff. Yay.

Braska's staff is too long for regular post so it's either a case of cutting it in half and figuring out how to join in back together perfectly or check out international courier rates so it can be sent whole.

I so live in the wrong country ;)

I'm hoping dad won't be home tomorrow and I'll be able to get much done in the quiet of the house. Or well quiet enough with Bathurst running in the background. Heh. Better car races than some of the stupid shit he watched *headdesk*

I will always believe that Square wussed out. The game was all about Seifer and Squall's love tryst until some idiot had to go and remember that guys would be playing the game, too, and they might not like Squall running after Seifer. Thus, Rinoa suddenly became Squall's one true love... after Ultimecia possessed her, of course. Convenient timing there. =P

Not that I've thought about this too much. ;)

The awesome thing? My very heterosexually minded brother even noted how odd the timing was. "I don't like her, I don't like her, wait!" Obviously, it's not just there for the people who are specifically looking for it.

And Squall and Rinoa, anyway...thinking of that longterm breaks my brain a little. Fairy tales are sweet and everything, but he is a mercenary. I can't see a fairy-tale princess merrily hooking up longterm with a mercenary.
