Semi-coherent post as we're checking out ordering pizza. At almost midnight :D Pizza is much required right now.
Aki-con was more bearable today in that the crazy little fangirls did not recognize the characters we were today. Yay.
Charles is making our pizza.
Got a couple questions on if I was going to be in the cosplay contest. Nope. Not me. Older fans recognized Braska but couldn't seem to remember his name -_- Kumar as Jecht was simply awesome. I had a moment of fangirl much like what I did at seeing Suk dash into the bathroom in Seifer. Jecht = tasty :3 I can't count the photos that were taken of me today but there were quite a few. Will be interesting to see if they end up online. Had a photo with a Yuna who's father and I then talked staff *dorks* He used a scroll saw where as dad used a jigsaw but even though I did not make the staff I knew how it was done.
We dropped Braska's staff and it is broken on the corner. Looks like it'll be getting remade eventually ;)
I am not sure if I am sad or amazed that the 'advanced sewing and draping' workshop today did not teach me nothing I didn't already know. Sad I think because I wasted an hour and a half that could have been used in the dealers room. >.> I did make a friend yesterday who was floored by me being from Australia. There will be Suikoden squee.
Charles has our pizza in the oven.
I discovered the Suikoden quite by accident by looking through a fanart folder. There was comic of the squirrels from Suikoden 1 & 2. Much happy. I need to dig out the bit of paper that we exchanged details on.
I will be getting my pics from Y-con and the aquarium and Aki-con in order eventually. Just not right now because I'm posting <3 Sadly only 1 pic of Hetalia and seriously I have no idea who of. I will watch it eventually but not till I get home.
Um pizza is still in the over at the moment. Hungry *gnaws on flist* Off to edit pics <3
Pizza has left the store and is on the way...yay!

*laugh* Don't you think it was safer to *not* spend that time in the dealer room? You still need to get home and all of that. Consider it saved funds for next year. ;)

I'm glad the costumes worked out well. Sad though that we missed the Final Fantasy pic shoot on the Sunday because we would have pwned them all. Was nice to not get mobbed by the crazy fangirl who made us want to go stabbity-stab. And moving was seriously a challenge at times.

i will be on my way~ i'm aiming to be there around 9ish and i think the bart station is near the international section so should we meet around there? isn't there a food court there too? let me know what you think <3

I wanted to attend the advance sewing and draping workshop but I totally forgot about it. My friends who went said the same thing as you so I guess I did not miss a lot :D Though I do understand that it is difficult to have someone that is well educated in terms of draping coming to Akicon since it is still a small convention and all.
BTW you were one of the highlights of Akicon for me XD!! If you ever go to Sakura Con, I have a bunch of friends who are Suikoden fanatics and will love to cosplay with you! Take care for now--!!! :)

I had planned on heading down to the dealers room on Saturday but it closed early while I was in that panel. I really didn't get much out of it but for a few quick tips. Most everything else I already know as I did the create cosplay from draping this year due to doing Luke from Tales of the Abyss in his Berserker outfit. I was even falling asleep which wasn't a good thing. Should have headed off and spent some more money downstairs and more time chatting. Is always good to find new Suikoden fans to squee with.
Sadly this is likely to be my only Akicon unless they have it right near Yaoicon again and I can afford to stay in the US the extra days. That's where I was the weekend before heading up to Bellingham to visit friends who then took me to Akicon as well. I've only ever done Yaoicon until this year. I don't know if I'll be able to make it to Sakura con both due to timing and cost. My travel expenses are not pretty. Am thinking of trying in 2011 if I can. Timing is not so good because of the Easter weekend it falls on/near. I am not sure if we are allowed time off work then. Working retail is not nice for trying to take holidays when there are seasonal holidays happening.
*grin* Akicon may be a small con but there were certainly enough people there for me to want to run and hide at times. I like to think I handled my first under 18 con well. I'm still mostly sane ;)
Bed for me now. Am flying out Saturday morning early but before then we have much happening and so don't be surprised if it takes me a few extra days to reply to any comments you leave. I promise to reply before getting distracted trying to finish Suikoden V. You take care too! *hugs*
