drabble prompts?

So I did some writing of drabbles for Cydling's FFVIII comm and I'm rather happy with how they've turned out. Nice to be writing little things again. Maybe I can work up to something bigger >.> I've got one more I want to write but that can wait till tomorrow when I'm not feeling so blah in the head from a nap earlier.

Yay for being a total bum today. Well I did do some things like laundry and helping Tasha look for pics that were due Friday but she's got an extension till Monday. I'm rather sad that she is 13 and can't spell very well. She needs away from computers and to read real books...if that makes sense. She's reading lots of manga at the moment which while it's a good shared interest, she's missing so much because the descriptions of what is happening isn't there because there's a pic to look at and see what is going on. /annoyed moment. Hopefully things will improve seeing as she's just hit high school *fingers crossed*

Tomorrow I plan to be more productive. Promise. Also realized today that by agreeing to work Sundays I've taken away my watching Bathurst in October. I'm so planning on changing my days that week. Can't miss Bathurst.

There was stunned silence at the news of Seifer’s apparent death at the hands of the Sorceress. Squall felt like his gut had dropped to his feet.

Each of his teammates looked just as shocked. Zell was very pale and wouldn’t look at anyone, Selphie was trying to smile but failing, Quistis seemed to be talking firmly to herself and Squall was sure he heard her say 'you failed'. Rinoa was crying.

“Quisty, it’s not your fault,” he heard Selphie whisper. Quistis disagreed with a sharp shake of her head.

“She’s right, Quistis,” Squall found himself saying. “He might not have been SeeD but Seifer knew as well as any of us what it meant to be captured by the enemy. I only hope it was quick and painless.”

Squall knew his time with Seifer would be unpleasant. Trying to talk to him was pointless. Seifer was too wrapped up in his romantic dream, unable to see the hurt he was causing with his betrayal.

Or maybe he did know and Seifer just didn’t care or actually wanted what he was doing. Seifer had undergone the same training, knew exactly what the SeeD cadets had been expected to endure at the hands of their enemies.

Squall had never expected it to be Seifer to remove his belts with such care. Not here in the D District Prison.
