Have spent entirely too much time at the compy today doing not much at all. Sent off a couple requests for commission quotes for the Hitsugaya and Squall wigs I'll be needing for con this year. One email has bounced so I need to go look what happened there. Yeah figured that out and I so can't spell ^^; Also really need to get a couple quote requests for weapons sent off too.

I was going to sew this weekend and am totally unsurprised that I've managed nothing. Tomorrow is the last day of the 3 day weekend. Planned is some cooking and I might even make it to finish the cleaning up. The internets is much too tempting and easily greatly distracting.

This weekend has gone much too quickly.

So you're technically cheating with remembering my b'day? *grin* It's just not a big event for us. None of the b'days are for my family. Some days I wish they were cos it'd be nice to be spoiled one day of the year but other days I don't mind the quiet. I'm blaming easter this year seeing I fall on this specific weekend and just get lost amongst everything else ;)

Chocolate truffles with alcohol in them >.> Not sure yet if I'm doing one batch or two. I might just do one and split it in half and do a peppermint one and rum one. Will see once I get a look at how big the batch is.

Mmm strawberries are yum. Am debating a banana cake actually but seeing as the truffles aren't an oven baking thing I'll do cake another weekend.

Aren't you just a temp worker? Crazy that you've ended up with so much work when you're just filling in. When do you expect the current work to be over? They better be letting you get enough rest.

Rewriting things is evil to have to do because everything just doesn't sound quite right and then you do silly things like change stuff too much. Done that before.

*laugh* Cheating is allowed since my memory is crap. :) But yeah, I'm the same way with not celebrating birthdays. It's mostly because I feel weird having people dote on me. I prefer being the one who dotes on others.

It's absolutely crazy to realize how long I've known some people. You and Ruth are the oldest fandom friends with whom I actually talk about life and the like. You both probably know me a little too well. :)

Temp worker, yes. It's not part-time, thus the crazy hours. Basically, they are using temp workers (talking about over 100 temp workers) so that they can fire anyone they feel like and not have to deal with unemployment payments and the like. The job has been around since at least December and there's no indication of them setting a timeline for when they won't need temps anymore. If anything, they'll need more, thus my shout out to anyone needing a job in Denver.

But in good news, I may have a different temp position lined up and it would mean working with the amazing person I was paired with in my last lab job. She's a manager in a company and desperately needs help, so they are giving her a 3mo temp position to fill, and I was one of the first people she contacted. I hope it works out with me getting in there!

Eh, the rewrites were necessary. Things were getting long and meaningless in the format I had, so I shortened things up and cut out the fat by changing the scene completely. It was necessary, but painful to delete hundreds of words. ^^;
